Alexander’s reputation with the locals speaks for itself. Start off your day in the best possible way. Why not try our Full Monty (no not that type!!) Our classic homemade Full English breakfast, cooked freshly to order or choose from Scottish kippers, toasted Paninis, homemade omelettes of your choice or our famous Scotch Woodcock with plenty of Vegetarian options. No time for a leisurely breakfast? Try our Breakfast2Go. We’ll pack you up a toasted sandwich or Panini of your choice, fruit juice or bottled water, tea, coffee or hot chocolate and a selection of fresh fruit.

Finish off your day with something delicious from our interesting and varied lounge bar bistro menu. Special 3 course Bistro menu available for residents and their guests at £15.95 per head. We also offer room service at no extra cost should you want to eat in your bedroom. Alexander’s Lounge Bar Bistro is only open Monday to Thursday evenings. Alexander’s Lounge Bar is open every evening and also to non residents. Please feel free to bring your guests, family and friends to our cosy bar for a relaxing drink ‘far from the maddening crowd’. We’d love to see you there.

Should you require dinner at the weekend, a five minute walk takes you into the heart of Sale town centre, which offers an eclectic mix of good restaurants, delis, bistros, coffee shops and waterside bars. We have put together for our guests a local restaurant & pub review guide. Please ask for a copy on arrival. At the weekends you can bring your takeaway food into our cosy bar or you can get it delivered to reception. We’ll supply the plates, cutlery, music & ambience and the best bit is you don’t even need to do the washing up!
